JILLIAN [JILLY] LEIBOVITCH
Hello. My name is Jillian, but I prefer to be called Jilly. I am a Marketing major at the University of Florida, but I am so much more than that! I made this website hoping that you can learn more about me beyond the story my resume tells. Please feel free to explore some of my personality traits and interests below.

Collaboration. During a meeting, you will find me listening to what others say and taking copious notes so that I can understand others’ perspectives. I am all about inclusion and teamwork.

Creation. When no specific path must be followed, anything is possible. No restrictions. No boundaries. Just you, your team, and your ideas.

Change. The world is at our fingerprints in this day in age. I enjoy how technology is constantly changing in order to make the world more efficient and more effective.

Exploration. I took classes and worked from May through August of 2016 in London, England. This experience really opened my eyes to the world. London is a melting pot of people from different walks of life who compatibly coexist. During my time abroad, I was also able to travel to Spain, Italy, Holland, the Czech Republic, and Scotland. I was exposed to the unique character and culture each of these countries offer, which was truly a mind-opening and self-reflective experience for me.

Individualization. Food explains people, places, and cultures. What, when, and how you eat says a lot about who you are. Admittedly, I am a picky eater – I eat Caesar salad without dressing, which my parents call a $15 bowl of lettuce! I also love chocolate chip cookies, but I remove the chocolate chips when eating the cookie. Weird? Yes, but that’s just Jilly.

Art. Viewing the world through the lens of my NikonD3100 is one of my favorite hobbies. I am no professional, but I enjoy taking pictures of the world and the people around me. Pictures unlock great memories and help me recall special experiences.

Self-Discovery. Ever since I was young, I enjoyed listening to music. My friends used to call me the human radio because I had an encyclopedic knowledge of songs, recording artists, and albums. I loved discovering artists before they achieved fame. A few years ago, I discovered electronic dance music (EDM) which is beat-heavy and lyric-light. EDM is special to me because anyone can speak and understand the language of this music.

If there is one thing you should know about me, I am not afraid of hard work. I am task-driven and challenged-oriented and thrive on decision-making, goal-setting, studying, learning, and all things in between. All I need is a legal pad, a sharpie, a tall coffee, and my laptop, and I am unstoppable.

Freedom. After spending a summer abroad in London, I realized I want to work in a fast-paced city in the future. Whether I find myself in Manhattan, Chicago, or San Francisco, I want to be part of a diverse population. I want to be in a place where the next trend starts and where I can never get bored. I am the kind of person who does not want to be complacent or sit still; I want to always be doing something, and a big city can offer me that.
